We have been so busy, and many of our nights up to this point were on boats or trains, or the city didn't have reliable internet.
I have been having fun, made a good friend, saw some AMAZING sights, and melted in the heat. It's much more humid here in Vietnam, and boy can I feel it. I have to say I like some things here, but I doubt I'll come back to this country. The people are pushy, the streets are scary with traffic, and the sights are not as much what I am interested in (pagoda after pagoda, they start to look the same). I am also over budget, and I find that annoying. I am going to be more thrifty once back in Bangkok before I go to China. One of the girls on my tour needs to get a Chinese visa too, so we'll be doing that together once we get to Bangkok.
We head for Cambodia on Monday. Time flies. I am finding I am not taking as many photos as I could, I am being picky about my shots. The heat is also making me a little bit irritable, which doesn't help. I am thankful for the weather we've been having, absolutely gorgeous. Yes, I am sunburnt, but I think that's the malaria meds messing with me because I put on my SPF 45 five times yesterday. I am wearing my tilly hat everywhere, it really helps.
Off to the Cu Chi tunnels where the Vietnam army hid from the Americans. I'll catch up with you all as soon as I get a chance.
