Much Ado About Nothing

2008-06-16, Oxford, United Kingdom

Today we saw Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing in the Oxford Castle Yard. It was pretty cool because it was outside and there were seats on three sides of the stage only like a few rows back. I had just finished reading the play the day before, so it was pretty nice to see. It tied some things up that I wouldn't have really visualized on my own. The play itself was set in a modern day Spain, and all the guys looked like gangsters. It was quite an experience. After that, Marcus, Chris, Andy, and I went to Nando's for dinner. It was pretty good, and then we went to the Raddy for a drink. They do this thing called a Snakebite where they mix cider with beer and add this syrupy stuff. It tastes pretty good. Not a lot of places serve it either, so it's a cool local thing I guess. Tomorrow I have to work on my essay like all day, but it's been working so far.
