Apologies for the lack of entries....it has been a bit hard to get online!!
We left Byron Bay last Saturday and have been in Surfer's Paradise since then. (If you look it up on an atlas it is the Gold Coast.) I will hopefully be able to upload some more pictures soon.
Surfer's paradise has the most amazing beaches & they stretch for miles! Unfortunately we only got 2 days of nice weather and one of those we spent at a water park called Wet 'n' Wild....which was great fun!!
Went up the Q1 building today which is the 20th tallest building in the world?!! The lift takes you up 77 floors in 43 seconds....its madness!! Got sum great pics from that too..
Not really been up to much else as the weather was very poor here yesterday & we only got 3 full days to do things here...and the other sunny day that we had we spent on the beach of course!!
Did manage to get a look round the shops yesterday though (while getting soaked!!) They have a very nice shopping centre, although most of it is outdoors!
We are off to Brisbane this afternoon...I am looking forward to that as we are going to the Australia zoo
