Hey friends. We are having a great time. This is just a quick update because it looks like we won't have internet for a few days.

Last night we were able to hang out with tame Cheetah's, then watch some saved wild cheetah's fight over some meat. The intensity rivaled a college group pot luck.

The other day I made a bet with our tour leader that I could catch a lizard. After 90 minutes of hunting I was able to pluck a tail off but lost the bet. I say that it is impossible to trap a lizard in the desert.

A couple of days ago we were in Swakopmund. This town was quite touristy, with not a lot going on besides being the extreme sports capital of Namibia. I only tried surfing, but our highlight was the township tour. Townships are similar to Indian Reservations only with out much space. It was eye opening to see so many make shift houses, yet with such livlihood in the streets. Laura and I decided if we were going to move to Namibiu, we would live in a township before we lived in the "city".

No pics because Internet is slow and expensive. Peace.

Next entry: Game Drive and the Delta
