Refilling a pool, my last and the most interesting task

2008-06-17, Stalis, Greece

You know that I'm working at the hotel that is rather big and therefore there isn't just one pool but there're four pools. OK, they aren't so big but they're 4.

Something was going on at the beginning of Sunday night when Michalis told me to follow one serviceman who explained me my extra task for my ongoing night shift. My responsibility was to check and then stop the refilling of the pool which must have been drain because during Sunday three big rats drown in it. So, the pool had to be drain and cleaned and after this procedure it could be refilled.

Everything went well, just one thing happened. I think that someone made a not very funny joke. There was a security stripe around the drain pool so that nobody fall or jump into it but somebody replaced this stripe around the children pool and several sunbeds where it has no point to be. So, I had to replace it back.

The pool was refilled at 5 o'clock in the morning and I was turning off water with the first signs of the sunrise. My task was done.

Next entry: I rented a quadbike
