We are currently in Jaipur. It took us around 7-8 hours to get here by bus. We had to take back-roads because there is political unrest in Rajastan. (Something about the caste system). The main highways are blocked fro Agra to Jaipur. I enjoyed taking the back roads because I got the opporunity to see the people and how they live and work. However, there was only one bathroom break!
We arrive at our hotel, and it is gorgeous! Today we visited Amber Fort. I highly recommend it. Definately one of the most beautiful places I have seen so far even though it is still going under renovation. Our hotel is amazing as well. It used to be a palace. I am enjoying it very very much. Tomorrow we are off to Delhi for 2 days, and then back to the states.
