Ah Turkey the land of Turkish delight, Turkish coffee and Turkish baths. We spent three weeks in this country. Every week was full of adventure. I have never been in a country like Turkey they are trying so hard to get into the EU, but yet they have laws against being anti Turkish. It was an interesting time.

Istanbul has the famous Grand Bazaar, if your brave enough to go through it you. The bazaar is full of typical market objects rugs, bags and glass items. The same day we braved the bazaar we decided to go to the bath house. Man that was strange. First of all you don't wear clothes, it is a bath house after all. Than if you have an assisted bath you have a hulk of a Turk scrubbing down your body, it was really weird.

Ministry in Turkey was interesting. We worked with this organization where we did open street ministry. We handed out tracks and gave testimonies, the people in Turkey are very open to the word so they all accept a track. One day we were handing them out and working with another group when we started to draw a crowd which was the point but someone complained and the police told us to leave this happened all the time which made it hard to share for long. Even though we had some opposition it was still a good experience and we got to share God's love.
