HIGHLIGHTS from visit with SEA2 in Malaysia
1. Arriving in time to be with the team when Will was healed of his egg allergy! Story in short…. Will has been/was deathly allergic to eggs all his life and it has limited him in different ways. Inhibiting him from eating different foods and disabling him from visiting certain places due to eggs being in certain vaccinations required to visit those locations. One night as he was reading the Scriptures he felt that God was saying he was already healed and that he was to go and eat an egg, which in faith he did and miraculously nothing happened to him. He began to weep with joy that he was healed. We all were excited for him and what God had done.
2. Spending much down time with the team because my visit was “coincidentally” timed so that I would be with the team on their Holiday on Langkawi Island. It was great hanging out by the beach for a day and renting a car to visit different spots on the island.

3. Having a day off with the team in Kuala Lumpur and being able to visit the Patrona Towers; more importantly, eating dinner at Chili’s!!
4. Having time to listen to several hours of encouraging sermons by Graham Cooke and Heidi Baker on my Ipod, while traveling on the bus to and from Langkawi. This was also great to share with the other team members!

HIGHLIGHTS of my time in Malaysia and Singapore after SEA 2 team left for their next destination and I stayed on in Kuala Lumpur.
1. Having time to catch up on email, computer work, and communication with other teams.
2. Meeting up with friends Ken and Hwaii Jiin from our DTS in 2005. They traveled up from their home in Singapore and made Kuala Lumpur their first stop on their travels. We were able to meet up and have dinner and Starbucks together. That leads me to my third highlight...
3. I had dinner again at Chili’s insdie the Patrona Towers in Kuala Lumpur.
Not only was I able to see the Patorona towers another time, but I was able to eat at Chili’s again. I love having a good burger! Additionally, I really appreciated it more than usual because my next stop would be INDIA! Where I could only assume that I would not be tasting beef again for several weeks.
4. Having an opportunity to help out the Y base in Kula Lumpur as they hosted an AIDS awareness day/conference for the local community. There was a great turn out in attendance from the local community.
After those few days in KL without the team, it was time to get bus down to Singapore, where I would catch my flight out to Calcutta India. I thought I would have enough time in Singapore to catch a ride on the free tour that the airport offers, but that didn’t happen. I ended up spending several hours on the wireless at the airport catching up with emails, organizing travel plans in India, and calling different teams.
Now off to India!!
