Good afternoon everyone,
Greeting from Ireland. We arrived this afternoon after a few more days hanging out with calli in amsterdam and were picked up by Irish at the airport. It was really great to see and catch up with him as we got preetty close the summer we worked together. But they live in a beautiful house a few miles from the city center and are actually building a new house in their backyard which we got to check out that has quite the view of the surrounding mountains and the bay. Irish has already been quite the tour guide and took us in a city bus tour that highlighted the conflict that happended here. It was wierd to see the seperation of the different sides of the conflict and the walls that still divide them to this day. After the city tour we journeyed to our first real irish pub and one of the oldest in Ireland, quite fun. Later we took an amazing hike up some of the hills that are just a quick walk from his house. At the top we were rewarded with some great views of the city and what the more natural Ireland looks like. It really has a unique beauty that i wasnt really expecting.
Tomorrow we are traveling up the cost to their holiday house and to play a round of golf at a true links course on the cost. Apparently Tiger goes there to practice before the british open to get used to the style of golf.
But we are having the best of times and i cant wait to sure some pictutes and stories with you all.
