Ko Samui, as far as I am concerned it the most beautiful place on earth, we stayed in a little resort in Bo Hut, one of the quieter beaches on the island and it was amazing!!!! We had little bungalows with a pool and steps right down to the beach so our days were pretty much spent lying by the pool soaking up the sun, eating ice cream and drinking cocktails.
However on the first night things took the funniest turn ever, I don't think I will ever be able to get across how funny it was and unfortunately as our camera was broken I have no evidence of it (a sigh of relief from Stephen). BRING ON THE LADYBOYS
So after dinner that night we went to the Star Club to see their Lady boy show, its quite shocking how good it is. The opening act was All That Jazz from Chicago and it really could have been Catherine Zeta Jones on stage, very surreal as entertaining as it all was you could see all the guys in our group twitching nervously in their seats and when it was announced that the lady boys would be taking some guys from the crowd up on stage there was a slight air of panic! Low and behold Stephen, James and Dan from our group where dragged up on stage and disappeared behind the curtain.
When they reappeared a while later they had been transformed into lady boys in their own right, Stephen sporting a particularly flattering strappy gold number and blond curly wig but I do believe it was his stubble that topped his look off, I have never in my life laughed so much. He took it like a champ though, I thinks thats mostly because our camera was broke.
Hmmmmmmmm I wonder if I could find photos from someone else in our group????
