Hello everyone,
I arrived after a short detour to brisbane due to some weather at about 11 this morning and made my way to my hotel. It is cool little bed and breakfast type place over a pub thayt serves kangaroo pizza and some specialtiy beers, cant go wrong with that. But the city is amazing. The first thing i saw when i got off the train was the harbor bridge and the opera house to the right, so amazing. I spent most of the day just walking around the rocks, the historical part of sydney, and then made the walk across the harbor bridge. I had some lunch there and sat down at a park with the most amazing view of the whole city. I was then greeted by the nicest old lady and talked for quite a while on the park bench. I know i have heard it before the people here really are amazing and so helpful. Tomorrow i am taking a tour of the Blue Mountains and a horbor cruise with stops at the wild animal park and the olympic village. Should be intersting. I wish you all were here to share with me, it is really quite a city.
I leave for Melbourne on Saturday, friday your time, around noon and i believe cricket and jamie are taking me to an aussie rules football game, so that should be fun.
