We arrived in the Cameron Highlands on 11 May and fell in love with it. It is a mountain town surrounded by rolling green hills. We are staying at Cameronian Inn which is so ralaxed and peaceful. The climate is lovely and warm during the day and nice and cool at night, much like a hot day in the Scottish Highlands (not that this happens very often!)
We went on a trip to the tea plantations, much of Malaysia's tea comes from the Cameron Highlands, the views over the plantations were stunning. After this we enjoyed a pot of tea and scones overlooking the plantations - brady old ladies!!
We like it here so much we are coming back in a few weeks after Kuala Lumpur and Borneo, hopefully to do some walking and get a bit fitter than we are at the moment!!
