Hi!
So today was my last full day in HK *sob*. We went out in a junk (like a yaght) for a friend's birthday. The champagne was flowing freely and it was all very colonial. We left HK Island, where there were loads of junks queueing to pick people up, and headed over to Lamma Island. Unfortunely the weather wasn't amazing and it was a bit chopping out of the harbour. We headed over to Lamma Island where we stopped in a bay. There I went swimming and banana boating (v. fun!) in the South China Sea (how cool is that?). The water was a bit cold but you got used to it after a while. I was hoping to sunbathe and top up my tan before going home but the sun didn't an appearance. Eventually we headed back HK Island, to Repulse Bay (not at all repulsive) where we went back to shore. It was a really fun day!
Tommorow I am leaving in the evening so I still have the day. I am planning on going down into the centre, go on the tram and the giant escalator (it takes 20 minutes apparently and goes right through the city) and go to the H&M (just to say I have been). If its fine and I have time I would like to walk up the peak to get a good view of the city.
Really looking forward to coming home!
lots of love, Helenxxx
