Hello, friends.

Long time, no update. It's not because we don't love you. It's because we've been busy and have been in some places where getting on the internet and using the word Jesus aren't two things that go together very well.

We've spent the last three weeks in the big C doing english clubs, going to an orphanage, going to a physical rehabilitation center, and playing a lot of basketball and volleyball with students. We made lots of friends, shared a lot of meals, and had a few opportunities to share the gospel with our new friends. We also had the opportunity to do our dramas and preach the gospel in front of a group of people so that was definitely a blessing for us.

At the moment, we're in Erdenet, Mongolia enjoying fresh, clean, cold air after a four day holiday in the city of Beijing. We left Beijing on Wednesday, arrived in Ulan Bator that afternoon, and then took a 12 hour train ride overnight to the city of Erdenet. So far we've gone to a school to help students practice english, taught dramas to a youth group, shared our testimonies, taught, and done dramas at a bible study and a church service.

The population of Mongolia is at a whopping 2.6 million people so needless to say, it's pretty bare here. The weather is fantastic though and we're all completely stoked to be here. Eric is a bow and arrow extraordinaire, Carter has changed his name to The General, Kim is taking over the world in Rock, Paper, Scissors, Jess got stepped on by an elephant in the big C (no, seriously.), Sarah continues to graciously snap photos when we want to be dumb "hey Sarah, take my picture I want to jump off something.", Charlene's left eye has been repeatedly attacked by bugs and door frames, and Ashley found Special K Red Berries in Mongolia so life is well. Seriously though, we're doing pretty good. Sickness has crept it's way into our flat but other than that, the FEA is rocking the far east like never before.

This is only our fourth day here so check back for a better update once things get going.

I'm going to get some direct quotes from the team about our time on outreach thus far so in a few days we'll have some personal testimonies up about what God's been doing.

Some things to pray for:
1. Mongolia. The gospel has only been here 17 years. Yes. 17. So a lot of people have never even heard the name Jesus. There's only a couple churches in town and there are also cults here so it's a spiritual battleground in trying to share truth with people. The people here are absolutely beautiful and there's something about this place that has made most of our team fall in love with it. Please just pray that we would be effective in the things we do and that we know what we need to say and do while we're here.
2. A couple of us have colds, possibly the flu, some people are having toilet issues, and some are having trouble sleeping. It's nothing serious but it's been a hindrance so any prayers sent up for these things are much appreciated.
