Well, here I am. Finally made it, after a good 24 hours or more of travel (counting layovers in airports). I'm pretty tired. We almost didn't make it because, of course, there were problems with Dan's ticket. What a bum - he makes everything difficult. But we made it, and here we are in Dublin!
I'm enjoying the accents of the people around here - I'm going to work on my British/Scottish/Irish accents while I'm up here. Where better to learn, eh? Nothing too exciting going on, since we just got in here, found our hostel, and immediately scampered off to find some food. We were starving, but now we're good.
I've discovered that Ireland is really expensive without the exchange rate, and that is making me sad. All the bars and pubs in the downtown section all have bouncers out in front, clearly letting in some people and not others. All the rich people are getting in and poor little travelers like me aren't even trying. Oh well, live to fight another day. There are an incredible amount of chinese restaurants around here, it's kind of RIDICULOUS. There's about 3 every half a block on each side of the road. It's scary. I'm tired now and am going to be done. See you tomorrow.
