Arrived in Koh Chang on 8 April after 7.5 hours on a bus/boat andfound a place caled Little Eden Bungalows at Lonely Beach which webooked into. Felt like we were in the midle of the jungle with all thehuge palm trees and greenery - very peaceful there. We stayed there for 8 days and did pretty much nothing apart from go to the beach/pool andsocialise at night with those fatal buckets of vodka! There were a few occasions where we got back after sunrise - there are so many chilledout bars it was easy to lose track of time! Met a crazy German dude who tried to convert Tracey to Buddhism, when she said no he told everyone in the bar she was Taliban! Apparently he is well known on the Island asthe Crazy German.
We were on Koh Chang during the Song Kran festival which is their New Year. To celebrate it is tradition to have water fights and throw talcompowder at everyone. We didn't need much persuading and soon joined inthe festivities of soaking everyone in sight with buckets of water - we felt like kids again, was great fun and such a good atmosphere!
