A rabbit and sand.

It turns out that the South Americans also bring unusual animals onto buses. A very calm looking rabbit, although that might have been because its ears and legs were taped together (to clarify: the ears were taped together, and the legs were taped together, the ears werenīt taped to the legs).

Also, sand-boarding (in Death Valley, no less) gets sand into some very interesting places, and is like snow-boarding (I fall over and canīt steer), but is also unlike it (iīm not in hospital, and it isnīt cold).

Had some spectacular views in Moon Valley, which I might be able to upload pictures of if I can get a card reader thingy. And tonight weīre going star-gazing. Weīre in the middle of the desert, and itīs amazingly clear at night, not to mention dark, so that should be great.

Hmmm. What else. Donīt like cities, but Santiago was ok, I warmed to it a little bit, and they have an interesting shop assistant manner, Gwen was chased all around the pharmacy by the assistant who was showing her nail files, and couldnīt escape to look at them by herself. But that may have been an error in Spanish communication, which happens reasonably often. The most important phrase to remember is : "Sin Palta". Otherwise... bad things happen.
