Today we drove to Woodstock and we’re not sure why. We figured that we would need to split the drive to Quebec City in two so that’s what we did. Not a great deal happened today. The drive was very boring, very boring and much singing was required. Since Ed had left the Ipod and Itrip in the last hire car we were stuck with the local radio stations.
When we got to Woodstock we checked in to our B&B and strolled down to the water front where we sat in the sun, read and watched huge chunks of ice float down the river. After an hour of so we found a pub with a sunny deck and chilled out there.
The couple at the B&B had recently returned from there 3 month break in florida. Apparently they do it every winter, it seems to be quite common in these parts of Canada to clear off for the winter. The B&B cooked up an amazing meal for us. The guy who ran it was a chef so he seemed happy to have someone to cook for.
That was it.
