On Wednesday we drove to Lake Taupo, it seemed like a really nice place although a little drizzly. We went to the campsite and had a go on the jumping pillow (a posh bouncy castle, probably only meant for children) it was really good fun but quite tiring! The next day laura and me went Kayaking on the lake this was really good fun, we paddled out to some rock carvings that were really cool (although only 27 years old!) then we got a picnic of roast chicken sandwichs (mmmm) and muffins oh and some tea mmm! At one point he gave us a umberalla to use as a sail so we didn't even have to paddle, very relaxing! While we were having a leisurely paddle in the lake emily was doing her skydive which although she had to wait most the day for the weather to clear up she seemed to really enjoy. In the evening we went to Toni and Alan's who are relatives of mine (second cousins i think!) We had a really good time and a really really lovely home cooked meal which we all loved, pudding and all! We also stayed with them for the night so got to sleep in proper bed for the first time in a long while, so we all slept well.
