Promises promises

Hmmmm internet by Thursday they reckon... now should I believe them based on past experience? I mean, I don't even have a 100% working phone line yet!

Ah well I can but wait and see... apparently if it doesn't work and I report it within 7 days I get a full refund... lets face it, I'll be hitting the net hard once I get access so I'll be testing it a plenty within the first 7 days! I've got months of surfing to catch up on!

The new Doctor Who series has started hasn't it?? grrrr need some decent TV! need internet access!!!

I've had no internet access for months... my life has come to an end!!!

you'll be surprised to hear that I'm off to an internet cafe tonight to catch up on some emails and generally have a luxurious evening full of surfing, so expect to be inundated with emails... awww but then that means I'll miss the eviction in Australia's Biggest Loser this evening!! DOH! I'm DOOMED! ;o)

As you can tell I'm starting to get cabin fever from living in the back of beyond! Things weren't even this slow in Thailand!

Anyway, enough of being a whinging pom... there's not much new since last I wrote. I went to the Flugtag yesterday which was very funny... I didn't see much of it cos there were thousands of people and way too many trees so viewing was pretty difficult... basically you needed a boat to be able to see properly... perhaps next year when I've found my millionaire husband eh?! ;o)

I did get a picture of the plane that won... before it launched so is still intact, I'll upload it when I've got it off my camera. It's call The Mullet, you might be able to see it on the shots on the website.

OOOOOOoooo I've just had an update from the internet people... I've now been told I'll have a technician by the end of the week... so it's already been delayed by a day! What are the chances it's going to work perfectly first time?!

So by my calculations if there is going to be a day's delay for every half hour (it's been half an hour since I rang them) then by the end of the week my installation will be scheduled for sometime around 23rd October... I'll have moved out my flat by then, that'll be handy!

Weather update - it's cold and it has been raining very hard this morning, in which I had to walk to work. I got a nice photo of Sydney in the rain, I'll upload some time... it's not a shot they put in the brochures!

right, I'm done with my whinging. It's lunch time and I'm hungry... salad sandwich it is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yummy yummy in my tummy
