I have loved Barcelona so much that I think I am going to stay a little longer and teach – funding myself so I can stay in this beautiful city! It’s a university city and so there’s plenty to see do and even more plenty of potential language students! It’s great too because being a university major city, there are all the libraries and bookstores I’d ever need to buy resources! In all honesty, I took the teaching job for the money, nothing more – but I love it now, genuinely I do! The highlight came on teacher appreciation day http:www.teacher-appreciation.info
when two of my pupils gave me little gifts typical of Barcelona to show their gratitude for my teaching (I helped them to pass difficult exams at college!). It really is such an open place and this demonstrates it perfectly – not a surprise I want to stay!
