So after all that fun in Fraser and Airlie beach, me and daner headed back down to Brisbane by plane to party with Ben and Daryl for St. Patty's day. We got there and got our hostel, ate and met up with ben 'just to go for a guiness beer tasting night.' Ya right, it ended up on being an expencive night getting drunk off of guiness. Had a great time got a few Kebabs and went to bed to get going off to Surfers paradice the next day. We got there and tried to find a hostel close to sean belhumeurs but the closest was about a 15 minute walk. That night we went to a see the movie Vantage Point, ahh not too bad. The next day we got on the bus and headed to a theme park called 'Dreamworld'. When you first walk up to the gates, they have a train station entrance similar to Disneyland's. We had a blast on all of the rides with Sean belhumeur and his two friends Heather and Craig. We went on rides like ' the claw', the log ride, and the tower of terror'. All of us probaply had the most fun on the ride call the claw, because it was just about a new experince everytime. Then next night we went on a pub crawl and had a blast. I ended up running into one of my friends Bram from my one hostel in Melbourne. Its wierd how that happens.
Well on the 20th of march dane and myself took the transit for an hour long bus ride towards a place called Coolangata. After getting off at the wrong bus stop, we finally made it to the YHA.
Well that night was the big concert night in tweed heads. Suppositly that it was only a 20 minute bus ride. So we hopped on the #700 towards coolangata. Got off at the one bus stop that the driver told us to get on, got off and caught the #601 towards Seaguls venue. Ahh finally got the at 7:45, 15 minutes after the concert started. We got there grabed a few beers and waited for the concert to start. Well going down to check out if I could purchase a Steve Forde t-shirt, I notice some one very familiar. Ahh Corb Lund! Well sure as hell I get to meet him. I got a picture with him and talked to him for a little bit. Ahh got talking and about Australia. Ahh I was so happy to meet him. He was happy to meet another Albertain in Australia. He wished and was sorry he couldn't stay longer to talk, but he had to go. Awesome, to even meet him! Next came all of a sudden Steve forde comes on and starts playing summers little angel. Awesome, having a great time. Just such a great time wishing that shymka could be here to enjoy it. Me and dane were wondering why didnt Corb Lund play before and where was that Morgan Evans guy? Well kept on rocking out and enjoying every minute of it. Well Steve put on an amazing concert, then came the intermition.
Steve Forde came out and Signed some autographs. Ahh ahat a night, lined up and got to meet Steve Forde. he asked my name and where I was from. He was astounded and happy to have fans from Canada. I got one hell of a sweet picture with him. Shymka is going to kill me! Well maybe he's just going to be really jelouse.
He took off and Gary Allan was up next. Where the heck was Corb Lund and that Morgan Evans Guy? Well another wicked show. Cant complain about Gary's performance. Well the lights went on and everyone started going. So me and daner stuck around to see what was going on. Well apparantly that was the end of the show. Much to our supprise, Steve Forde came out, and we got to talk to him again. Ahh he was happy to see us stuck around. He remembered that we were from canada, and thanked and shook our hands and thanked us for comming to his show. I also got him to sign my steve forde cd, which he wrote Rock on josh to me.
Well we left the venue and waited for a cab. Waited and waited finally we decide to walk. Shit bad decision.

So we walked and walked and walked, but finally go to a gas station, so me and dane gave up the option a another beer and steeled for a water bottle. Finally after stumbbling around for a bit we finally made it to another gas station where we managed to get a cab.
Well we had onther day in coolangata, but figured out that we had to go to another hostel if we wanted to stay in coolangata, because surfers was all booked up. So we stayed a night coolangata at the sands hostel. Definetly better than that YHA. So me and Dane got there and decided to go surfing. Well sure as shit my un-coordination factor definetly came into play. I only managed to get up on one knee.
The day after that me and daner made it back up to Surfer's Paradice and stayed at sleeping in Surfers where belly was staying there with Craig and heather. Then next few night we partied and had a blast, my nude swimming at 7pm at night.
Finally, sadly to leave Dane, belly , craig and heather, I headed towards Sydney by plane on the 27th.
