Today was an awesome day! We were incredibly productive and managed to put all the walls and roof panels together and even sheeted them. When we get to the site tomorrow we will already be putting the walls up and the roof on. We met the family today and they are very nice and very grateful for us and what we are doing. We did have what I would consider a miracle today. While a huge breeze came up, a wall that was leaning against a fence came crashing down and landed on Solomon's head very hard. I turned and tried throwing my hand under it, but I wasn't able to stop it because it was too heavy and coming too fast. We picked up the wall and got him out from under it. He was and still is fine. I can only tell you that what I saw was nothing short of a miracle. As soon as it hit him, I thought at minimum he had to have broken his neck and yet he has no signs whatsoever of any problems. After our work we came back to the base and showered, rested and then went and had queso taco for dinner. It was everything we remembered and more. Now we are back at the base and everyone is outside laughing and enjoying the cool starry night. One other challenge. We are sharing the camp with about 80 Canadiens, making us the only Americans. They are an interesting group, not excited about america or those from it. As I write, Trevor is singing the star spangled banner. Overall, this has been a great day. Ahead of schedule on work, witnessed a miracle, had queso tacos and now sit awash in the laughter of youth in mexico making waves. Until next time ...
