ok, so i apologize, but this won´t be a month of long updates.... i am in a city called san pedro sula.. it is closer to guatemala and we are living with a new family here. my family is cute... 2 really smart little boys an a crazy 3 year old who i´m pretty sure could beat me up.. anyway we have little water, so access to tech. is limited too, so mom and jamie and those who are awaiting a call, it will be for another week or so when i´m on spring break... today we visited the chiquita banana farm and some Jesuits who are working with immigration. It is so sad how so many Hondurans are in the states and go to make some money and don´t usually come back. One woman today said the states ¨absorbs¨people. The community I will stay in next month has most of their young adults in the U.S. and seeing how much it breaks up families is heartbreaking... we will also be visiting clothing factories here and seeing how the clothing industry is affecting Honduras. Also it is hard to try to think as a consumer how my decisions affect people´s lives here... this country is so connected with the U.S it´s hard to see. I have much to say, and little time.. i love you all and will write more soon!
