The day startered off slowly as we all tried to recover from the travel days. Had a walk around the colonial rown of Granada and looked at a few churches.

In the afternoon a group of us went on a kayak trip around the islands in Lago de Nicuragua that were formed when a volcano erupted. It was a hard paddle against the wind to begin with but once we entered the esturies we cruised around spoting birds and howler monkeys. We went to an old fort and saw the richest women in Nicuragua´s private island. We headed back just in time to see the sunset over the volcanos. It was really a beautiful sight.
