Queenstown is amazing! i love it! and the best part.....it has a shop, wait for it....that sells.....ENGLISH SWEETS!!!! woooooooooooooo! i went there 4 times throughout our visit :D but anyway. You'll all remember how tom and i (especially me) swore we'd never ever ever do a bungy?? well...we pulled up in the good old kiwi bus to the kawarau bridge bungy site, to watch all the others jumping of course. and we got roped in to doing a tandem one. It was pretty awful! i was petrified standing on the ledge ready to jump! but it was only scary for about 2 seconds then it got a little boring. then i was upside down and just wanted to get down! it was fun but not really worth the money to be honest, and my head is still not the same! Tom decided he had to do one on his own so he got his second really cheap and made a really funny kind of scream/shout thing on the way down! everyone was laughing!!
Queenstown itself is just a really cool little place. its a party town but with a really nice atmosphere. Also, its really beautiful with a gorgeous lake surrounded by lots of mountains! one day we went up on the gondola up the side of one of the hills to go luging. luging is where you sit on a sort of skateboard thing with handle bars and zoom down and hill using gravity as acceleration! so much fun! we also went to a kiwi park and saw loads of rare birds, and of course kiwis! which was really cool. Next stop, a house!!
