|  | | Ice, ice and more ice! | | | | | So we arrived and fox glacier, did another *cough* skydive *cough* which was AMAZING! you jump out at the height of towering snow capped mountains, over the glacier- awesome. Although i was really paranoid that the chute wouldnt open because i was being greedy doing 2 :s but im still here! the next day it was time for our full day glacier hike! this was so cool! It takes about an hour of steep climbing to even get onto the ice (the hardest bit!) then you're sorted out with crampons and a stick and off you go! it was actually really scary as you come up close to crevases and you have to climb up steep ice hills, but once you get used to stabbing your crampons in its ok! i only nearly died about 4 times. By the end i was shattered! i slept really well that night!
