So we woke up this morning and it was tipping it down, the one day it rains and its my birthday..i'm sure you all think we deserve it for making you feel jealous! well we watched a film on the tv until it stopped raining then went into town and had some lunch (Nachos and Malibu mmm!) Then we headed for the beach where we spent most the day, unfortunately i'm still pasty white with the odd red bit that will soon return to its usual whiteness :( ! We headed for the pool at which point it began to rain again, but we refused to let this stop us so we stayed in anyway although we were a little scared that lightening might hit the pool and fry us! Fun though! Anyway off to have some birthday drinks now...we are going back to Bangkok tomorrow night on our last sleeper train (sob!) We have another 4 days there, then we are onto singapore and to meet our other travelling buddy laura!
