Flirting with the Brazilian/Argentine Border

2008-02-22, Foz Do Iguacu, Brazil

After leaving the village, before going back to Buenos Aires we went to Iguazu, which was about 2 hrs from there. We got a little lost trying to get into Brazil to go see the Iguazu Falls National Park. I still don’t understand how we got into the country without a visa and getting our passport stamped. We were on a public bus (several buses, transported by the police, lol) etc. One of the girls was paranoid because she needs to fly out of Brazil and she didn’t want any trouble when she had to leave. She almost missed the last bus back to our hostel. She’s been traveling for a year and has had problems before. The falls were absolutely amazing. I wish I had taken the rafting ride along the falls, I haven’t gotten to do anything super crazy just yet. I’m still waiting to go sky-diving or something, lol.
