Today was a travel day. Up at 5:30am and spending about 10 hours on buses and boats. Traveling from Playa del Carmen to Caye Caulker in Belize. The boarder crossing was made interesting by the nicest immigration officer anyone in the group had ever come across. He had a story/comment for everyone and greeted us all in nationality appropriate phrases.

We arrived in Caye Caulker just in time for sunst. This is a laid back bohemian island community which is largely Caribean influenced. It has a sand based road with plenty of palm trees. And interestingly Belize is the easiest commonwealth country to get residency in..... I might just have to move here!
