Leaving crazy Bangkok

Just a quick message today, we are leaving Bangkok today for the hopefully the more calm and relaxed atmosphere of Chaing mai in the north! We are getting the sleeper train at about 7.35 tonight but it takes so long to get anywhere in this city we are leaving early about 4 and risking the buses! We had a brilliant day yesterday our friends tan, phung and nun took us on a trip to the zoo and a huuuuuge shopping centre and we even had pizza mmmm not very different to pizza at home! They also gave us a tour of the city by night it was very pretty, everything is so much easier when you have a car, although the driving here is horrific the taxi drivers are worse here than home!
