So off we went, with our 12kg back packs, to catch a bus and then a boat into the national park! the boat went via a seal colony, so cute! so we started walking and realised this was going to be harder than we thought...after 7 hours, i was in agony and tom was carrying my bag and his! and i was getting dirty looks from fellow walkers...oh well! we EVENTUALLY ended up at our campsite and put up our tent. then we cooked dinner and went to bed. i couldnt sleep coz i was in soooooooo much pain! but it was worth it, the park was gorgeous with amazing beaches and forrest, and it was an adventure! the next day i could barely walk so we made it down to the beach and hailed a boat back to the nearest village hehe! then we jumped on the bus and made it back to nelson....phew!
