so after a nightmare ferry ride (it was packed as its high season) and a nightmare bus journey invloving wine tasting (it was also packed) we arrived in the lovely nelson! luckily we had planned ahead and pre-booked the yha- we didnt want to end up in another 'kiwi experience approved' hostel, they're always horrible! so we were in the lovely yha, with a cute cat! we had another wandering day and sorting day, and booked our abel tasman 2 day hike! woo!
