crap hostel!

i'll try not to bore you too much but basically, tom and i had sworn we would never stay in a base hostel ever again. so of course we ended up staying at base wellington-the yha was full. so after a HUGE hassle, we eventually got our room. horrible. nothing works. had to move rooms the next day. windows wouldnt close. thunder storm. etc, you get the picture! never again! wellington seemed ok, and it was chinese new year which was cool! then we were off to get the ferry to the south island.....:D
