Cozumel is a major port for cruise ships. In an effort to get to the non-touristy surf side of the island I rented a scooter. I have never been on a scooter before, let alone driven one and at this point I can garuntee my panicing mum, that I never will again!

After 2mins of instructions (it took this long because I kept asking questions), I took off. To my advantage Cozumel´s township is mostly one way streets. To my disadvantage I needed to remeber to drive on the wrong side of the road. After 20 seconds I realised what a mistake it was to be driving in a foreign country when your a nervous driver in your own country. I should of rented a bike! However, once I was out of township and I stopped hyper-ventilating I did have fun. The rest of the day was spent circumnavigating the island; reading, sunbaking and swim in the bluest water the carribean has to offer.
