Farewell Wellington, hello South Island.

Oh well oh well oh well oh uugh! Today was ferry day but first we had to see more of Wellington. We decided to take the cable car (more like a tram) up to the top of the botanical gardens and take a walk back through the city. Twas a splendid walk and a wonderful way to spend some time. We popped into the cable car museum at the top but it was rubbish. The gardens were great and there were some fantastic views. After the walk we headed for the ferry. Again we got some great pictures of Wellington and some even better ones coming in to Picton and met a nice couple on their honeymoon from the UK. We also spent a while being entertained by cows being transported in a truck shuffling together in an attempt to turn around. Once on the south island we headed to Blenheim and checked in to another Top Ten campsite.
