|  | | My First trip to New England | | | | | We landed in Boston around 6 or 7 in the evening. Me and my second mom (Gayle's mom)had come to visit Gayle's sister Mary who had just had her first baby. We were going to be there for two weeks and I was so excited to be in such a historical place. Dan picked us up from the airport and we drove back to Manchester. As we drove through town I couldn't wait to see Mary and was especially excited about the leaves changing. My apprehension boiled over waiting for the next day.
Mary was excited to see us. She was visibly exhausted they had just brought Luc back from the hospital the night before. She was sad that Gayle couldn't make the trip, but nonetheless happy her family was near. The house in Manchester was so different than homes here in Texas. It was a two storied older home with hardwood floors and a basement. A typical New England home and I thought it was one of the coolest houses I had ever been in. Luc was absolutely gorgeous. As mom and Mary cooed over Luc, Dan and I talked history and art. I was excited to see Dan because I have a great fondness for him since we have alot in common.
