Dragon’s Back is a hiking trail in Hong Kong Island, as for me it was the second time to hike here, the first time it was on a Sunday and there were a lot of other hikers even people walking dogs. This time was not a good time to hike because it was a rainy day, but it was my only free day and didn’t want to change my plan due to the weather. So I decided to go even tough it was light rain in Hong Kong Island. To get there first take the MTR to Shau Kei Wan station, after that take the bus number 9 to the start of the hiking trail. After hiking a couple of hundred meters the view is amazing, with view to the South China Sea and other islands, in this rainy day the view from the tallest places was not good due to the mist and clouds, and I thought that I’d meet a couple of hikers along the way but it turns out that I didn’t meet anybody during the two hour hiking trail. The last 30 minutes of my hike I had to use my umbrella sometimes, at the end of Dragon’s back the hiking trail continues to a beach called Big Wave Bay and there is two trails the short one of 1.5km and the long one is about 3km, since the first time I took the short one, this time I took the other one, which resulted in a really beautiful views of the ocean and Big Wave Bay. Definitively I’d like to hike Dragon’s Back again. Rainy day; No problemo.
