So it was off back to Auckland, but only for 1 night (phew) before we left for whitianga in Mercury bay. This was a nice little town and our hostel was right next to the beach, with some nice waves for tom! and me it turned out! i decided i liked the nz sea as there was no rips, jelly fish, sharks, stone fish, crocs, water snakes etc (all the things we were used to in oz!) so tom and i went surfing pretty much everyday. and thats about all we did! for new years we stayed at the hostel and had a bbq with the people in our apartment- the hostel was split into apartments which was cool! on the 4th our job was due to start (or so we thought) so on the 3rd we hopped on a bus back to the shitty city....
