As i'm a little behind on the journal and i can actually bore myself with my last week of China i will do a quick round up... so here it goes!
18th... Got train and arrived in Gulin, free food as always... 20 mini dumplings on this occasion, finally had my Star Guitar moment after 6 weeks on the trains! should have done Yangzi River but couldn't be bothered as it is a bad season for it, so you don't get that much of a boat trip out of it you spend most of the journey on a mini bus... easy decision to make!
Highlight of the day was seeing idiots swimming in the river through the city centre... they must have been training for a triathlon or something because
1. it was a bloody freezing day!
2. the water looked worse than flows out of the humber
In the afternoon smoked my first joint of the china trip... after watching Ocean's 13.... i had to go and have a small word with myself! Nightmare!
19th... Got Train to Guanghoz, pissed around most of the day waiting, once on the train... was sat next to Chinese Soldier, continued to piss around as when ever he went to the toilet or to smoke, he left his military hat behind so i kept taking pictures of myself wearing it to the hilarity of the rest of the carriage! he caught me doing it once and wasn't to happy about it, but overall we had some good phrase book conversation and had a bit of a laugh... well as much as two people who can't speak a word of a similar language!
20th... Walked round Guanghoz, took 2 hours to find a headset to use skype, as always in China though, it's like london buses, you don't see one for 2 hours and then there is 50 on one street! In Evening played poker... as always was bossing the early parts and then a couple of school boy errors let me down! still walked away even... ish!
