Unexpected jet boat and Bungy stop

2007-12-05, Taupo, New Zealand

The next day we passed through the very lovely town of Taupo. Then we saw signs for the Hukka falls which is a really powerful and beautiful waterfall. On the way we just passed by the Hukka falls jet boat, but before we all knew it we were being thrown around doing 360 turns and speeding up and down the lake before being taken for a great view of the falls. That was areally good trip.

After all the excitement of the jet boat we decided to go to watch people doing bungy jumps while we had some lunch.I had mentioned me and Jan doing one in the past but she wasn't so keen on the idea. After quite alot of pacing up and down Jan said that she would do one as long as we did it tandem. Well we were all strapped up and ready to go, as we shuffled forward Jan started to changed her mind and back out of it-so she gave me no choice but to grab her and shove us both off haha. She wasn't best pleased on the way down and told me how much she hated me all the way down with her eyes closed(tightly).Once it was all over she was really happy that she'd done it and started jumping up and down with excitment. So this day turned out to be a really good one.
