I suppose this will be my last journal entry, which is sad.
I can’t believe I will be home in 9, soon to be 8 days!!
This week has passed in a flash, again. We had the last of our regular classes and finished up everything for the end of the semester, the only thing left is exams. On Wednesday Emily and I walked around Florence and did a little last minute shopping. I am officially done buying presents so that is good! This weekend was filled with studying for my two finals on Monday and going out to dinner with my 5 roommates and the 6 girls upstairs. We all get dressed up and had a wonderful meal together; it ended up being a fantastic night!
Well, It’s actually Monday night as I finish this journal entry and I am officially done with my History of Christianity course and Environmental Conservation. It feels so good to have those two tests done but not so great because today flew by and I know I will never have another Monday in Italy. As of now I only have 6 days left in Italia.
So, tomorrow is my last Italian class and then some study time for the two tests I have on Thursday. Sounds exciting, I know. I think we are also planning on going to Be Bop to hear a mock Beatles band.
I’m realizing that leaving Italy is going to be such a bittersweet experience. I’m really anxious to get home and see everyone for Christmas, but so sad to leave this wonderful country.
Well, I’m off. Thanks for reading my journals this semester and keeping in touch. I really appreciated hearing from all of you and it made my semester even more enjoyable to keep in touch with everyone!
