Hey everyone!
Sorry I haven't updated in ages! Just been going through everyday life over here!
Crete back in October was fun! And having Annette and Mom was fun as well! I have been doing great and am still enjoying my job and making some good money to pay back loans. November wasn't too exciting, not much happened which is typical for November in any country. It has been fairly mild here as I have found it usually is in the winter and it is not likely we will get any snow.
As you may or may not know I am in the process of auditioning for some theatre schools in London which is pretty nerve racking as they are some of the biggest theatre schools in the world and very hard to get into! I had my first audition this past weekend with the Central School of Speech and Drama for a Masters in Music theatre. It was a six hour audition with two hours of dancing! I think I did pretty well but I should hear in two weeks or so! Just in time for me to go home to Canada for Christmas!
My next one is next Monday with the London School of Music Theatre followed by one in January for Mountview Academy of the arts.
I head home on Dec 21st for a week for Christmas which is really exciting! Jason isnt coming with me this time so we are having our own little christmas at a nice restuarant with a three course meal next Wednesday. And this Sunday his mom is taking us out for a Christmas meal as well!
Poole high street is all decorated and the shops are so busy! Jason and I went to West Quay mall in Southampton on Sunday and it was so busy! But we got a lot of our shopping done! Duncan also left the flat this past weekend so now it is down to me, an english guy and two south africans who are pretty nice.
Forgot to mention, when we were in Crete for my birthday, one of my birthday presents from Jason was that he would come to Australia and new zealand with me! So in February when my british visa ends it is most likely we are going to do the work abroad thing in australia for a while before I go to theatre school (hoepfully) in September! Which is very exciting. It means I will be home for two weeks or so at the beginning of March as well (most likely with jason) which is nice too! As a result I have taken on a second job in a pub a few nights a week to make ends meet and save some money for that. Although much like coming here it wont cost much since we will be working and just spending what we make over there.
Lots going on! I miss everybody and I am looking forward to coming home for christmas and seeing everyone.
:o)
