sorry we never got around to finnishing our journals before we finnished out trip. we have been home for quite a while now and just wanted to
put some closure to our journals and adventures.
we spent our leg of our trip in malaysia and indonesia.
which were both beautiful. we didnt have much time in KL before we were flying to bali, but we got to go and see a lot of the city. and found the people very very nice, and good shopping in china town!
We loved, more then any words could discribe bali, it was the best place we had been on our whole trip by far. the food was great the people were so friendly, it was beautiful, it was cheaper thent thailand. everything.
just fantastic. we stayed at a beautiful place in Kuta beach called New arena. We did nothing but surf and tan everyday for 12 days..
We decided on our 3rd last day in bali ( before we flew to bangkok for two days and then home ) we would do a volcano trek.. we got talked into climbing the 2nd highest active volcano in indonesia!!! we started at 1am with flashlights on our head.. and made it to the top for 6am to see the sun rise.. that whole experience is a story in its self! at the time it was the hardest thing either of us have ever done. but now looking back it was the most rewarding experience of my life!
anyway. we loved bali and are itching for the next time we find ourselves back.
