Noosa is a very cool place but its quite expensive! hence the reason we didnt stay very long! But during our time there we managed to have a fantastic surf lesson! our instructor max was really brilliant and he looked after me and called me franny, i think because i was the only girl and really little compared to the guys! he was a bril teacher and i was standing on my second attempt, and we were all catching our own waves by the end of the lesson (harder than it sounds...i was thrown off so many times!) Tom was brilliant again! Also in Noosa we went for a walk in the national park along the coast. We saw koalas, turtles, dolphins, sea eagles and probably sharks (i cant tell the difference between fins) oh and i forgot to mention the melbourne cup! its basically like the grand national over here. Tom and i bet on a horse and of course it was scratched.... but it was cool to see all the rich people all dressed up! Then it was off to Brisbane...
