Well, I am all packed and ready to head to Frankfurt to stay with Irina for the weekend. Except there is one small problem, all of Italy is on a transportation strike today. Seriously, who does this?
They shut down all the public transportation including trains, planes and buses.
I called the Pisa airport yesterday and I was told to still come to the airport incase my flight would only be delayed; the airports are only striking from 10am to 6pm. Of course my flight is suppose to take off at 4:30 so we’ll see what happens. I’m hoping everything goes according to plan, but you know never know with this country! What a frustrating situation!
