Jans Birthday

Well Jans finally reached 26 and we celerbriated in style by flying over the Great Barrier Reef on a scenic tour, what a fantastic way to see the reef this was. We as divers really enjoyed diving it but I don't think you can fully appreciate how big and beautiful it is untill you've seen it from the air. We were really lucky with the weather and without a cloud in the sky the views were amazing, a must see for anyone that visits Cairns.

After we headed to Cairns Central for some birthday shopping and then met up with some friends for a BBq lunch and a dip in the local lagoon. On our return to the caravan park Jan was given a bottle of Champagne from the owners.

Over the past two weeks we have met a few backpackers so invited them for a mexican and a few beers which turned out to be very funny drunken night. A good end to a really nice day.
