Hey Everyone,
Well the time is continuing to absolutely fly by. It's hard to say where it even goes... but in 3 weeks we will be leaving for Guam!
This past week we had Mark Parker teaching about relationships. On Friday as a closing to the week we all went to Mission Bay for a big 'family picnic' and some fellowship. Two of the girls on the DTS also got baptised and I had the privilage of being of the people to baptise Julia who was in my small group, and will also be coming with me to Guam. It was a fun time of hanging out as a school, eating some great food, playing games, and enjoying each others company...
Over the weekend we were able to take a trip up to the Oakridge YWAM base which is about 2 hours north of Mangere where we are living now. Mangere is very much in the city, where as the Oakridge base is WAY out in the country surrounded by mountains, and trees, and sheep. It was a great time hanging out at the beach, going for walks, and having little adventures galavanting through the woods. It was nice to go somewhere outside of Mangere and spend some time outside....
And tomorrow...
Is my birthday! My 21st birthday spent in NZ... doesn't quite have as much meaning in the states, but will still be loads of fun. It is actually going to be a random day off in the middle of the week for the school tomorrow so I am just looking forward to sleeping in and spending some time with friends.
Well everyone I should get going. It's been fun, hope you're all doing well, and send an email my way if you have a chance!
