After waiting the whole time we have been in Oz we finally got to dive on the Great Barrier Reef., on a recommendation from our friends we met in Borneo Kristen and Paul (Excellent). We went on a liveaboard with a company called Pro Dive.

We lived on the boat for 3 days and 2 nights and spent the whole time just diving and eating!. It was fantastic and we loved it. By the end of the 3 days we had done 10 out of 11 dives and eaten enough food to last us through the next week.

We encountered Reef Sharks, small rays, moray eels, turtles (one of which was massive - bigger than an average dining table) and a wide variety of different species of fish and corals of all different sizes and colours.

It was a really good experience for both of us especially Jan who as a new diver done really well and even loved the two night dives. She did crap herself at one point when she thought she saw a sea snake and grabbed me to swim the other way (but it wasn't). But to my surprise reacted alot better than expected. Well done baby!

We would recommend this to anybody it was a fun 3 days -cheers Pro Dive.
