|  | | The rest of our time on magnetic island | | | | | so we dont mention the photo again please! anyway... for Toms birthday we decided to rent some kind of transport to get round the island on. We werent allowed a car obviously. Not allowed a scooter. Not allowed a moke. So we settled for the next best thing-an electric bike! they are so good! we missioned around the island and visited lots of secluded bays-lovely! we didnt manage to do the whole island though so we rented them out the next day too-just a much fun! for Toms birthday we had booked a table at a tappas restaurant. So we turned up on time to find the place closing! they had forgotten about us :s but they reopened for us and gave us their best tappas! along with free cake and coffee-nice when you have almost no money left! the owners joined us in the end and it was a really good night! on the last day we were DETERMINED not to miss our bus again! so we got up at about 7.30 (our bus was at 1.30!) and got the earliest bus to the ferry-and waited 2 hours for it. then we got the earliest ferry to Townsville and waited another 2 hours for the bus-at least we got on it! off to Airlie beach....
